"Too much info"

Yaron Ziv of ECI Telecom Ltd. wrote to say "nice newsletter but too much info. No one has the time to read long newsletters". We replied "We have an HTML summary version of the newsletter to make it easier. It has just a one-paragraph summary of each article, with a link to the full article on the web. That way, you can read only what's interesting to you." Yaron immdediately changed his subscription from the text to the HTML version.

If you feel overwhelmed by all the information in our text report, you too can switch: Go to our Change/Unsubscribe page, enter your email address, click on "Change my preferred report format" and select "HTML summary". That way you can see the pictures, glossary and other features which are only in the Web version.

A connected apartment in Milan

Adam Peake of GLOCOM Tokyo wrote in reference to our Connected by Design article that:"Cisco and a bunch of Italian household product and service providers have already built such a "house" (it's an apartment) in Milan. It's not a show house in the sense of a pilot, all services are commercial products and it runs on fastweb IP over fiber service. See www.casacomoda.it .

Thanks Adam! We're aware of Fastweb's services, but haven't had the opportunity to visit this apartment. If you are intersted in visiting, the Web site indicates visits to the Internet Home are reserved for the press and the trade.
